Description
Why diagnosis comes first
“Cannot power on” is a symptom, not a diagnosis. A flat or failed battery, damaged charging port, faulty power button, failed display or motherboard problem can all make a phone appear dead. Motherboard work should therefore follow checks of the more common power and display components.
A board-level fault becomes more likely when:
- the phone remains unresponsive after charging checks;
- several functions fail at the same time;
