Description
Check the camera before replacing it
A blurred image does not always mean the camera module has failed. First clean the outer lens, restart the phone and compare the camera in more than one app. If the rear camera still cannot focus, the preview remains black, or the image shakes after an impact, the camera or its internal connection may need attention.
Bring the phone in for inspection if you notice:
- focus repeatedly hunting without locking;
- a black or unstable rear-camera preview;
- blurred photos in every camera app; or
- camera problems that began after a drop.
