What You Need to Know

Estimated Repair Time: Most common motherboard-related issues take approximately 4–6 hours to diagnose and repair in-store.

Complex Repairs: More complicated CPU or motherboard-related faults may require approximately 1–3 days. Some cases may need additional time depending on the fault, repair complexity and parts requirements.

In-Store Repair: Motherboard diagnosis and repair are carried out at Singapura Mobile Repair Shop by our experienced technicians.

Free Diagnostic Check: We provide a free initial assessment before proceeding with the repair.

No Fix, No Charge: If we cannot complete the agreed motherboard repair, no repair fee will be charged.

Warranty: 1 Month Warranty. A claim is assessed against the actual repaired motherboard fault and the device condition; coverage is not extended to unrelated issues.

Payment: All repair fees are in SGD. We accept Cash, PayNow, PayLah!, CDC Vouchers (general vouchers, excluding supermarket vouchers), and Visa/Mastercard. An additional service charge applies to Visa/Mastercard payments.

Description

FreeYond F9S motherboard repair aims to restore device functions when testing shows a board-level power, boot, communication or corrosion fault. It should not be the first assumption for a phone that appears dead, because the battery, charging connection, power button or display can produce a similar symptom.

Board diagnosis starts by excluding simpler causes

We compare charging response, current behaviour, signs of local heat, boot activity and which functions fail together. A weak or swollen cell follows F9S battery diagnosis. Movement-sensitive charging belongs with F9S charging-port inspection, while a physically stuck or intermittent key should first use F9S power-button diagnosis.

When those paths do not explain the fault, board-level inspection can check damaged connectors, unstable power rails, corrosion and circuits shared by several functions. A CPU fault is only one possible board-level cause and is not assumed before diagnosis.

Motherboard repair and Data Recovery have different goals

Motherboard repair primarily aims to restore normal device operation. FreeYond F9S Data Recovery prioritizes access to important files, even when long-term device use cannot be promised. Tell us when the files matter more than restoring the handset so the diagnostic goal is clear before work begins.

Testing time depends on the board fault

Common motherboard-related work is estimated at about 4–6 hours. Complex CPU or board faults may take about 1–3 days, and severe corrosion, intermittent behaviour or parts requirements can extend the process. These are estimates, not promises of repair success or long-term stability.

FreeYond F9S Motherboard FAQs

Does a dead F9S always need motherboard repair?

No. Battery, charging-port, power-button and display faults must be separated before a board-level cause is confirmed.

Is a boot loop proof of a CPU problem?

No. Software, storage, power stability and other board circuits can also interrupt startup.

What does several functions failing together suggest?

It can point to a shared power, connector or communication path, but each affected function still needs testing.

Is motherboard repair the same as Data Recovery?

No. Repair aims to restore device operation; Data Recovery prioritizes access to files and may use a different technical goal.

Will motherboard repair preserve all data?

No data outcome can be guaranteed. If files are important, tell the technician before work so recovery priorities can be assessed.

How long does F9S motherboard repair take?

Common issues are estimated at 4–6 hours. Complex CPU or motherboard-related faults may take 1–3 days or longer.

Can every F9S motherboard fault be repaired?

No. The outcome depends on the damaged circuit, corrosion, processor or storage condition and the results of diagnosis.
