Description
FreeYond F9 camera lens repair is for damage to the outer glass protecting the rear cameras, not every camera image or focusing fault. Cracks, deep scratches, a missing glass section or dust entering through a broken opening should be assessed before the exposed camera area collects more debris.
Outer lens glass and camera-module faults need different repairs
The F9 rear camera system includes a 13MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera behind the outer openings. A physically damaged cover can reduce image clarity or expose the cameras, but blur, shaking, a black preview or failure to focus can also come from a camera module, software or motherboard fault. Replacing the outer glass alone does not repair an unrelated sensor or autofocus problem.
Bring the phone in before using tape or liquid adhesive
Temporary tape may trap dust, and unsuitable glue can spread into the camera opening. Keep the area dry, avoid pressing loose glass inward and let us inspect the frame, remaining fragments and camera output before confirming the lens-glass service.

Is the F9 camera lens glass the same as the camera module?
No. The lens glass is the external protective cover. The camera module underneath contains the imaging hardware and can have separate focusing, stabilisation or sensor faults.
Can scratched outer glass make F9 photos look hazy?
Yes, scratches, residue or cracks across the optical opening can scatter light. The camera output is checked because haze can also come from dirt below the glass or a module fault.
Should I keep using the F9 with missing camera glass?
It is better to keep the opening dry and arrange assessment. An exposed opening can allow dust or moisture to reach the camera area.
Does camera lens replacement include a new rear camera?
No. The service addresses the outer camera glass. A faulty 13MP main or 2MP macro camera requires separate diagnosis and approval.
What happens if the replacement lens glass becomes loose?
Installation condition is checked at handover. If a non-impact installation issue such as loosening occurs, bring the phone back for inspection. New cracks, scratches or impact damage after handover are not covered.
