Description
This service is for a FreeYond M5 5G with cracked front glass, sharp edges, spreading fractures, ghost touch or areas that no longer respond after impact. If the picture also has black patches, coloured lines, flicker or no image, the internal LCD must be assessed as well.
The M5 5G uses a 6.78-inch IPS LCD at 1080 × 2460 with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. When cracked screen replacement is the right repair

How the screen is checked and tested
The damaged assembly is removed only after the phone and frame have been examined. The bonding surface is prepared, the replacement is aligned, and the phone is tested for image clarity, brightness, edge response and accurate touch across the screen.
A straightforward screen replacement usually takes about 1–2 hours when the correct part is available and no additional impact damage is found. This is hardware work and normally does not require the phone to be erased, but backing up important files before repair is still recommended. Is cracked glass the same as a damaged LCD?
No. Cracked glass is visible surface damage. The LCD is the image-producing layer; fixed lines, black patches, colour distortion or no picture indicate a deeper display fault. Both layers are checked before the repair option is confirmed.
Can a small crack become a touch problem later?
Yes. Repeated pressure and normal handling can extend a fracture into the touch layer. Stop using the phone if glass is loose or sharp.
Why does the screen tap or swipe by itself?
Impact can damage the digitiser and create ghost touches even while the picture remains clear. The whole touch area should be tested rather than judging the phone by the crack alone.
What if the screen is lifting from the frame?
Do not press it back into place. A bent frame, weakened adhesive or swollen battery may be applying pressure from underneath and should be inspected first.
Will my photos and apps be removed?
A routine screen repair normally leaves storage unchanged. A backup is still recommended because impact damage can affect more than the visible glass.
