Chemical Wash is cleaning, not a repair guarantee

Sharp AQUOS Wish5 Water Damage Cleaning Service (Chemical Wash) is intended for a phone exposed to liquid or moisture. Cleaning may remove contamination that can be reached during the service and support further inspection, but it cannot prove that every affected component will recover or remain reliable.

Liquid can affect the display, battery, charging system, cameras, connectors, storage access and motherboard differently. Replacing or cleaning one part does not resolve every possible liquid-related fault.

First steps for a liquid-exposed Wish5

• Stop repeated charging and power attempts, especially if the phone becomes warm.
• Do not put the phone in rice or apply unverified liquids or heat.
• Keep the device off when practical and describe the liquid type, exposure time and actions already taken.
• Explain whether restoring the phone or accessing important data is the priority.

Additional repairs remain separate

The cleaning service fee does not include a later component repair. If inspection identifies board-level work, Sharp AQUOS Wish5 Motherboard Repair remains a separate service with its own assessment, timing and policy.

Data Recovery is a different objective

Chemical Wash does not guarantee that photos, contacts or files can be recovered. If the device is inaccessible and the files are the priority, use the separate Sharp AQUOS Wish5 Data Recovery service. Cleaning, phone repair and file recovery are not interchangeable outcomes.

Time, charge and risk boundaries

The cleaning-only estimate is around 1–3 hours, depending on device condition, exposure extent, cleaning needs and inspection findings. Additional diagnosis or repair can take longer. Chemical Wash is chargeable, additional work is charged separately, and the completed cleaning fee is excluded from No Fix, No Charge.

No Warranty applies. Successful repair, long-term stability, recovery of every affected component, prevention of future corrosion, Data Recovery and continued device operation are not guaranteed.
