Singapura Mobile Repair replaces faulty Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 main flex cables that cause display or sound problems. The cable runs through the hinge area. We test the phone to confirm the fault, install a new cable, and test the display and sound again. We replace the damaged cable rather than patching it.
The main flex cable connects components across both halves of the folding phone. Because it moves every time the phone folds and unfolds, normal wear and accidental drops can damage it over time. There is no fixed number of folds at which a cable will fail, and age alone does not prove it is faulty.
Common Main Flex Cable Symptoms
A faulty main flex connection can cause the large inner screen to go blank when unfolded, or the small external cover screen to go blank when folded. In some cases, both screens may stay blank. These symptoms point to a possible connection issue; however, a physically damaged display panel can also go blank and will not be fixed by replacing the cable.
Sound may cut out when the phone is folded or unfolded, such as while streaming videos on YouTube or Facebook. Display and audio problems can also occur at the same time. Restart loops or unavailable Wi-Fi can accompany connection problems, but none of these symptoms alone confirms that the main flex cable is faulty.
A visibly cracked screen may require a Samsung Z Fold 4 inner LCD screen replacement or a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 external small LCD screen replacement. If the LCD Screen Also Needs Replacement
If only the main flex cable is faulty, we replace only the cable. If the screen is damaged during disassembly and also needs replacement, you have two choices:

You can choose not to proceed. We will reassemble the phone and will not charge for the declined main flex cable repair. Reassembling the phone will not repair a damaged display panel.

You can approve a separate quote to replace both the screen and the main flex cable.
We never add a screen replacement without your agreement. Main flex cable replacement usually takes around 2–4 hours. The 3-month warranty covers only the replaced main flex cable, not the screen or other components. New physical or liquid damage is not covered.
