Description
FreeYond F9S camera lens repair is for physical damage to the protective outer glass over the rear camera, including chips, cracks, deep scratches or a missing lens cover. It is not the same as replacing the camera sensor or autofocus module.
Outer lens glass and the 13MP main camera are different parts
The F9S has a 13MP rear main camera behind its protective lens area. A visible crack in the outer glass can scatter light, admit dust or leave a rough edge, but the camera module may still focus and capture normally. Persistent black preview, shaking, focus failure or fixed marks after the glass is clean can indicate a different module, connection or board-level issue.
What we check before replacing the lens glass
We inspect the damaged opening, surrounding rear housing and camera output. A sharp fragment or missing cover should not be pressed or cleaned with a hard tool. If impact also damaged the front of the phone, the separate FreeYond F9S cracked screen service can be assessed at the same visit.
After the outer glass is fitted, its alignment and appearance are checked at handover. The camera is also opened for a basic preview and focus check, without promising that glass replacement will correct an unrelated sensor or autofocus fault.
When another diagnostic path is more suitable
Condensation or residue behind the cover after liquid exposure should be assessed through F9S Water Damage Cleaning Service. A black preview affecting several camera functions without visible lens damage may require F9S motherboard diagnosis rather than outer-glass work.

Is camera lens glass repair the same as camera module repair?
No. Lens glass repair addresses the protective outer cover. The camera module contains the sensor and focus hardware and needs a separate diagnosis.
Will new outer glass fix blurry F9S photos?
It may help only when the blur comes from cracked, scratched or contaminated outer glass. Focus, sensor or internal condensation faults are separate possibilities.
Can I keep using the camera when the lens cover is missing?
Continued use can expose the camera area to dust and contact damage. Avoid touching the opening and arrange inspection.
Does camera lens glass work affect stored photos?
Outer-glass replacement does not normally alter phone storage. Back up important files whenever the device remains usable.
What is checked at handover?
The appearance, fit and alignment of the installed glass are checked, together with a basic camera preview and focus test.
